The purpose of this forum can be summarized best in the words of these scriptures:

Daniel 9:17

Now therefore, our God, hear the prayer of Your servant, and his supplications, and for the Lord's sake cause Your face to shine on Your sanctuary, which is desolate.

James 5:15

And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.

Matthew 21:22

And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.

This forum is meant for prayers and not for advice, or to voice personal judgements of those seeking prayer.

Please keep the board rules and be gracious toward each other.

It is not allowed to start a prayer thread for a member on this board, unless you have permission to do so, and/or know them personally off of the board (enough to know for sure they wouldn't mind).

Consider posting a quick response just so the person making the request is encouraged.

However, please remember this:

If there are no posts answering your prayer thread, this does not mean that no one is praying for you. Some members here pray without posting, according to the scripture:

Matthew 6:6

But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.

Dear God

I am writing to ask for a prayer request in regard to a man named Bill. Please pray with me for his salvation, and for those in his life who don’t know Jesus, or how much He truly loves them. I am not in a position to witness to this man personally, but others have been contacted to this regard. Please ask the Lord to extend His spirit to facilitate and lead a conversational witness through anyone whom He may choose. Please ask God to extend His grace toward Bill, doing everything needed to chase him, overcome his pride, lift the veil from his eyes, bring conviction to his heart and show him his need for a Savior. Like us all, Bill has made some mistakes, and has unfortunately had some tragic things to happen in his life. I fear his heart has hardened. He, and his loved ones need knowledge about God's love, His grace, His glory, His offer of forgiveness, healing, deliverance, and protection--especially now because at this time Bill needs release from addictive vulnerabilities, depression, and is in danger of influence by unbelievers (who also need prayer) whose worldly beliefs stand in opposition to God's word. Please ask the Lord to surround Bill with believers who can minister to him, and that He may use the challenges Bill has endured to further the kingdom and lead him to salvation; then, that others will see and also be pointed to Christ by what God does in Bill's life.

In His mercies,
Sarah S.

Dear God

I just received this emergency communication from my dear friend, Bishop Patrick, in Uganda...

It is now 10:00 PM here and we have just received bad news from our schools in Busembatia that our old van was taking back 40 children to to the village of Nsinze. The van slipped into a river injuring many. Some of the children and teachers are believed dead and others are in Nsinze hospital.

We will set off at 5:00 AM tomorrow to go to Busembatia and to the hospital. We need guidance and strength in this. I will give you an update as soon as possible.

These students include local children and orphans from the school. Please pray.

Dear God

Prayer for Mr. Paul Lee and his family as he heals from two diseases, but has chosen to stay home instead of fight the illness for complicated but doctor recommended advice. Pray for his wife, extended family, and especially for Pauls comfort as he fights for his health at home. Please pray for a miracle that the illness will be free and Paul will be full of health.
